2. Yes. Ventura County. Between LA and Santa Barbara. Coastal.
Woke up to a tornado watch, which has since been lifted.

But the Ventura River is overflowing and onto the bridge that crosses it, thereby closing the 101 freeway, which is how I go to work in southern Santa Barbara County. Evidently mudslides a little further up the coast on the same highway are causing problems too.

6. do you still get paid?
If so...Whoo hoo!

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

9. So far, no. Roof's a year old and holding up. Gutters overflowing
And they were clean; the just can't handle some of these downpours.

I am sick of this rain too. Sorry about your house leaking. Where are you?

10. I'm in Glendale
My landlords keep hiring these people to "fix" the roof who obviously have no clue what they are doing.

I brought in a licensed contractor last week to look at it but his quote was "too expensive" for them. So now fixing the ceilings and walls that are damaged will somehow cost less???

:wtf:

11. I was late to pick up my kid at school last week
numerous roads were closed due to flooding here in SW PA. PS "Water is not the homeowner's friend", as my husband likes to say.

13. They put tarps up. They have "fixed" the roof numerous times
and still...drip drip drip.

I don't know anything about anything but clearly the roof has a leak in an area that they haven't yet figured out. But as soon as it stops raining they will send another "roofer" to hammer some shit up there and throw down some tar.

I hate to have to move but I may have to. I can't deal with landlords who won't spend a little more money now get the job done right.

14. You'd think stupid cheapskates would take better care of their assets
I mean, a landlord insensitive to the needs of his tenants is one thing, but to let your income-generating property decline is absurd.

You must have yourself one brain-dead idiot of a landlord. Symapthies.
