Does anyone here have any first hand information about witch's covens?

I've known some people who have been involved in some and they seem like nice people. It seems, from what I've been told, that their main concern is protecting the environment and food supply. I understand they are pretty liberal and open-minded. I understand there are a lot of covens in the Malibu, CA area.

My information is all second hand though and I was wondering if anyone here was involved in that sort of thing and might have first hand information. I'm just curious since I know very little about them.


I was also wondering if that movement was dwindling or picking up?

1. They are Wiccans

They are practicing Wiccans and believe in the goddess. It seems to be a growing religion. I'm sure you can read up on it on the web or find books on.

3. Slightly off-topic, but this is a copycat thread waiting to happen.

No offense, g, and I have NO experience except that I know some Wiccans.

4. I have a friend who just graduated from a wicken school.

She told me about some of the spiritual centering things they do. They also meditate a lot. It's true that they do a lot of environmental work.

She seems to think that the spells that she learned work.

I'm an atheist so I don't really believe in all of that, but every wicken I've ever met has been pretty cool.
