The Sun Devils made too many mistakes in that game. In the third quarter they got to the Oregon State 20 yard line three consecutive times and managed to come up with three points, they even got to the three yard line, it was 4th and one at the three, they go for it a fail. They recently found their running game with Hakim Hill and did he good against a team who has a great Rush defense, 6 out of 10 times ASU would of won that game. I think by game 5 of this week they will stop making careless mistakes and pull out with the W.

they will win, the Sun Devils are undefeated when I show up at Sun Devil Stadium, I had season tickets for the 1997 Season when they went undefeated in the regular season and I got tickets to the NAU game earlier this year and they won. Is it just a coincidince? I think not. lol.

They are moving the Michigan/Minnesotar football game for the second year in a row (the Gophers and Twins share a venue.) Why on EARTH is Michigan playing there two years in a row, and who gave the Twins the right to manipulate a college football schedule? The Gophers should have been forced to keep the day and change the stadium, as Michigan requested.
I'm rooting for Boston!

I don't like the Yankees, but I despise the Snakes even more. Colangelo makes Steinbrenner look like a nice guy by comparison. Besides, the debt the Snakes took on to win that one Series will hobble the team for years.

On the other hand, I find it difficult to square support for a team whose owner gives no mind to the community.
Arizona has gotten the shaft when it comes to pro-sports owners, but there's only one way to stand up and change things. Stop rooting for and supporting the teams.
OK. My sermon is over.
Back to the game.
Cheers!

37. Both stories are similar. |
|
Regarding BOB, there was an actual citizen vote against it. In both cases, he went to the state, to the city of Phoenix, and to the county. It was clear that popular sentiment was against taxpayer funding for those venues. So he was turned down repeatedly. In both cases, he ended up getting his way by waiting until the wee hours of the morning, when the citizens had gone home, and then took aim at county commissioners (who are complicit, I agree). He is, much like George Bush, a man made out of taxpayer subsidies that he had no right to obtain. There are dozens of stories floating around the Valley regarding his sleaziness. You might have some fun seeking them out.

and the D'backs didn't spend nearly as much as the Yankees, you have Giambi, The Rocket, Jeter, that player from Japan, among others. We just had Gonzo and Finley and the rest were from the expansion draft and the minor leagues. But we did have Johnson and Schilling.

44. Look at the payrolls for the year they won the Series -- |
|
They were almost identical with the Yanks. Same for the year before and after. And, the Yanks didn't defer salaries like the Snakes did. When you consider deferred salaries, the Snakes actually had a higher payroll than the Yanks the year they won the Series.
As for the uniforms, from my sampling, you are in a very small minority on that opinion. Somebody goofed big time!
Cheers!
