The River by Bruuuuuuuuuuuucee
But I remember us riding in my brother's car
Her body tan and wet down at the reservoir
At night on them banks I'd lie awake
And pull her close just to feel each breath she'd take

i think this is one of those lyrics that each time I hear them (and that has been thousands of times) they bring back fantastic memories of a time long ago now.

2. Wonderful...
album!!!! Yes I have it on vinyl and cd form. And imagine that he lost the Best Rock Vocal Performance Male Grammy for THE RIVER to that dreadful teen soap opera one-hit wonder Rick Springfield for "Jesse's Girl"--uuuggghh!

3. I saw him in concert in support of this album.
First time I had ever seen Springsteen and it was as fantastic concert. Probably the best I had ever seen.

4. I love Springsteen
He's a true poet. "Youngstown" is one of my favorite songs. He captures the feel of things so well - you can just see it and feel it.

5. That album
has got to be one of my all-time top 3.

And I'm not sure what the other 2 are.

That song is incredibly evocative and moving.
