Apple advises users not to eat it's newest iPod (iPod shuffle)
Look at the bottom of this page, disclaimer number two (in gray text) clearly states: "Do not eat iPod shuffle."

http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/

Fudge, and it looks SO tasty, kinda like an over-sized albino pez. :silly:

2. Definitely, not a bad little piece of kit
I'd buy one . . . fuck, I'll probably get one next week. I've been looking at a standard iPod, but it's not like I need that much music with me, and I'd rather not fly to turkey to sell one of my kidneys to come up with the money. :)

17. You could serve it with a side of lamb ice cream
and have strips of beef-jerky stuck into the ice cream to take the place of cookies. A carnivore's dream!

7. It not only livens up your day, but it freshens your breath as well!
Just think of having a replaceable mint casing for one of those. Once you licked it all off, you could simply snap on another one. I think I may have come up with my million dollar idea . . . :D

12. The problem would be keeping it germ free
especially when it's lying in your gym bag next to a pair of very smelly sweat socks. An edible antiseptic maybe?

I like to have control over what song is going to play...not sure if this will be a success.

16. That's what I was thinking as well.
It may work . . . we'll have to see. In any case, if they don't sell well it's not like apple will lose a bundle after spending so much on R&D. I'd also be worried about a touch of brand devaluation . . . kinda like what happened to Porsche back in the 80's with the 924.

19. well it's more like a curious gizmo
and cheapo too, it can't really compare with the true iPod, it even feels like an experiment.

21. I dont get the mini
But, I am a music FREAK. I couldn't imagine paying all that money & being confined to only 1,000 songs. It SOUNDS like alot of songs, but if your really into music it isnt.

I got the 10,000 song iPod for Christmas. It is sooooooooo fantastic.
That said---- I've now had it for 2+ weeks and have only put just over a thousand songs on it. I have 500+ cds but it taks time to load them... you know the drill.

For anyone thinking of buying an iPod I HIGHLY recommend it.

The little one you showed is adorable! & very reasonably priced.
How many songs does it hold?????????

For the price it would be a great investment- IMHO

22. I think you can play a playlist in sequence, if you choose,
or do the "shuffling" thing.

I want one of the MiniMacs! My old Mac needs retiring.

23. You can control it
DJ Your Day
If you favor cycling to a hip-hop soundtrack and snowboarding to a little electronica, Autofill a specific iTunes Playlist to your iPod shuffle and roll. Or just drag and drop individual songs or albums from iTunes onto iPod shuffle. With Play in Order mode, you manage the music. If things take a turn for the predictable, never fear. Flip the Shuffle toggle on the back of iPod shuffle and mix on the go.
