1. Other= Oil Industry
I think all of society can be weened off of oil totally and permanently with-in ten years. In the process we could create jobs and revenue from an environmentally friendly energy.

3. I voted for the tobacco industry
Hate to sound like an obnoxious "Truth" anti-smoking ad, but I've had too many relatives die of cancer, including my aunt who was so addicted she continued to smoke during her treatments for throat cancer.

The tobacco industry is no different from a Columbian drug cartel in my mind.

6. Credit
...and specifically the Orwellian* industry that surrounds it -- monitoring, evaluating, and rating an entity's ability to repay a loan.

(*I can say "Orwellian", because I've read Orwell...)

7. Tossup twixt Fashion and Sports.
Can you think of all the money wasted on foisting these completely useless distractions on the American Public? THink of all the ad dollars spent in these two realms that could have gone to insuring the uninsured or educating people.

While some of those other industries are pretty bad, I feel nothing is worse than the eradication of entire species.

12. Nuclear
And then plastics (that is, the companies that make all the wasteful shit that makes the world hate America, like plastic utensils for lazy ass Americans, plastic cups, plastic plates, all those damn plastic bags wrapped around everything, straws, etc.) and then I'd go after the damn laundry industry and ban fabric softeners and environmentally harmful detergent, soaps, and cleaning solutions, bleach would be banned, and also I'd get rid of those dryer sheets and everything else that's unnecessary with clothing, including but not limited to static free spray from a can. Talk about lazy, sheesh.

All that crap has to go.

13. the VRWC
An entire infrastructure devoted to keeping the general public ignorant, distracted and disinterested in improving their own lives, dedicated to subverting the Constitution at every turn, populated with trolls who have wet dreams about mass murdering commies, homos and darkies.

Ann Coulter should be destitute, homeless, and begging for food in the street.

14. I voted for HMOs
The only reason that gets my vote over fashion is that HMOs actually kill people with their evil.

Also if it wasn't for the fashion industry we wouldn't get hilarious parodies of it like on AbFab. :)

15. the nominal "Defense" Industry, without a doubt
The vast amounts that are spent on private defense contractors lead directly to a very powerful lobby that can only sustain itself through promoting imperialism. It's a nasty cycle of death and violence, and I would abolish it if I could.

Read this book if you don't understand what I mean:
