I just watched a report on Democracy Now!

They're sealing off a 100 sqare block area. Bleacher seats that have always been free, on a first-come, first-serve basis now cost $60.

Umbrellas are totally banned. You're not even allowed to wave miniature american flags.

I'm not going, but I'll be praying for a monsoon.

The last inauguration I attended, was in 1973. I was with a bunch of yippee's, and we threw about 15,000 dead rats at Nixon. It made national news.

My impulsive side is saying GO GO GO!

My mom, who is very anti-Dumbyass, wants me to go out of town with her, as far away from festivities as possible. I also have a feeling she'd love to do anything she could to keep me from going downtown; which, of course, makes me want to go even more.

Mr. GoG is 10 years my senior, and feels he's been there and done that, and there's little to be gained from it. That doesn't bother me, as I'd rather not bring my 6 year old...he's very sensitive and can't deal with crowds for long periods of time. He'd be happier at home with his dad.

I have to mull things over....

My brother got arrested at an animal rights protest one time, and was released after an hour or so.

Now, they throw the T-word (treason) around so much, and especially after the RNC, I'm a little worried about jail.
