Coolest. Dress. Ever. (warning: fluffy vanity post ahead)
This was the vintage disco dress I was trying to find shoes for. I finally had an occasion to wear it again, and I actually remembered to get a picture (sorry for the low photo quality -- it was all I could do to get it to a reasonable size).

Thanks, everyone, for the shoe advice. As you can see, I found a pair of close-toed shoes that matched perfectly. I will now stop whoring for attention and will resume watching the flame wars.

3. I was attending a play.
A campy, melodramatic Webber play.
OK, it was Phantom. Flame if you must.

Still.
I had fun.

2. C'est cool, oui
You have much better taste than Jenna, who would have worn lime green shoes with that dress.

And your smile is much better, too. :D

8. See above.
I did end up at an equally campy bar/lounge after the play...it was appropriate. :-)

12. I bet it was!
Nice shoes, too... I'm not normally too fashion-conscious but I do love when you find the perfect shoes/earrings to go with a nice dress like that. :)

13. Thank you.
OK, everyone, yes...whoisalhedges helped me pick out the dress. He even helped me zip it up in the dressing room (before I figured out how to do it myself -- which is good, seeing as how we're not together anymore and it would be remarkably tacky for me to call him and say, 'hey, hedges, can you come over to my place to zip me up so I can go out on a date?' But I digress.)

I don't know, for some reason the sounds of Donna Summer erupted in my head.

You look great.

I'm only 5'2", and I guess people were shorter a few decades ago or something...
