Jackson trial ban bypassed
Owen Gibson
Wednesday January 12, 2005
The Guardian

BSkyB is planning to reconstruct the forthcoming trial of pop star Michael Jackson on a daily basis in an attempt to circumvent an order banning cameras from the US courtroom.

Using a technique first used to cover the Hutton inquiry in 2003, BSkyB will partner with US network E! Entertainment Television, employing official transcripts to reconstruct the previous day's courtroom events.

Jackson, 46, was charged on nine felony counts by US prosecutors in December 2003.

He has been accused of molesting a child under 14 at his Neverland ranch and plying the child with an intoxicating substance.

2. Sure, let's start putting everyone in jail we think did something.
Due process is such a waste of time. Innocent until proven guilty is such an old fashion, silly idea.

3. Sorry
I didn't mean it that way at all. My comment sure sounded like something a repuke would say! You're absolutely right. Thanks for the correction.

It just seems this has gone on for so, so long.

Let me restate that: let's give this man a fair trial and be done with it.

In the meantime, I wish the media would not give him so much focus when there is so much more to worry about in this country. (But I know, I'm talking about the corporate media and that won't ever happen!)

5. I agree with you on that.
