If it were CA or FL, I would say, "So what?"

It's pretty damn mild here in New York, too, compared to the last two years.

I was so clever to look up your profile and see if it said where you were walking outside with "no snow on the ground". :D

in mid-winter NYC. As long as I had a hat and gloves, I could do it for hours.
Edit: I see you are talking about our strange weather.

9. I remember back in Maine sometimes we'd get |
|
a January thaw. That was always sweet. I remember one time going cross country skiing in shorts and t-shirt. The temperatures can get up into the 70's mid-winter sometimes. It was always disappointing when the temperature would plummet back down to zero (or below) a week later.
I find Florida funny because the weathermen will talk about a cold spell when the temperature goes down like 5 (or less) maybe 10 degrees at the most. I'm accustomed to wild temperature changes since I grew up in Maine. I don't even notice a temperature drop as insignificant as 5 degrees. I might notice 10 degrees, but I wouldn't think it was significantly colder.
