It's written and produced by the guy who did "Moonlighting," back in the eighties. Smart, character-driven plotlines. I am mad for it.
Have you seen "House"? On Fox network, of all places, Tuesdays at 9 pm. Possibly the best show I've seen since the advent of "West Wing." Or, perhaps "Law and Order." Brilliant show. Absolutely brilliant.

2. It's funny. That's been my pet name for Mrs. XNASA for over 20 years. |

I've always called her Medium. Not because she can read my mind, but because when we got married, we had a dog, and I was Biggie-Big, she was Medium and the dog was Little.
We don't have a dog anymore, but the names, Biggie and Medium still remain.
Anyway, it's funny to see a show called "Medium". We both start laughing when we see a commercial.
Saw the show. It was OK. BTW..the Exec Producer? Kelsey Grammer. Ick.

unpredictable and characters are multi-dimensional Patricia Arquette is a most unique person any way and it seems like a perfect fit

I've added it to my weekly viewing schedule. I'm now at 4 shows, all on NBC. So much for paying for all that cable.

5. I was fairly impressed with it |
|
A little disapointed that the main character was pointedly pro-death penalty, but that may work itself out considering it looks like she's helped put an innocent man on death row...

the person that the show is based on is really pro-death penalty but Arquette remains opposed. the medium gets very upset especially over the child killers.

8. Um, well...not exactly....spoilers inside. |
|
She THOUGHT she put the wrong man on death row. In her dreams she was seeing the crimes being committed but the face was not the same guy she helped put on death row. The guy she got sentenced to death really was the right guy, but somehow she her dreams got crossed up with some guy whose face was on the menu at an Italian restaurant she had gone to.
There was no doubt the right man was convicted, just some doubt that her abilities are 100% accurate at times.

12. Ah, that makes a bit more sense |

I think I missed part of the show. I still wouldn't be surprised to see this story line expanded on. In any case, I realize I'm in the minority (nationally) in terms of my views on the death penalty.
