From the great response, I'd say you had a thirsty bunch on your hands.

Good wishes.

Geary is also excellent.

Can't drink beer any more. Too many carbs and calories. :-(

I tried the low carb beer once, ugh. terrible

Enjoy

5. none
I've sincerely tried to learn to like beer, and have tried domestic and imported. Sorry, but it tastes like dishwater(and yes, I've accidentally tasted dishwater, so I know what it tastes like).

Flat Tire beer -- from a Colo. brewery.

Plus Seattle has a whole lot of microbreweries -- as does San Juan Island.

9. Magic Hat #9 Ale
Edited on Wed Jan-12-05 06:55 PM by ET Awful
From Magic Hat Brewery in Vermont :)

Described as:

A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.

I've just returned from a political event, where Flensburger was served (according to Powell, the best beer).

It was good, no question about it. MY personal favourites are still
Dithmarscher (my first beer, how could I forget):

Rolinck (my first Hangover, how could I forget):

and Pelforth - albeit blonde - (my first... nevermind ... how could I forget?) :

The absolute best Guinness on tap can be had at Nanny O'Briens on Conneticut Ave. in Bethesda, MD

39. Agree that Celebrator Doppelbock is great stuff, but,...
...my own personal favorite is the Belgian, monk-brewed ale, 'Duvel'.

....but, daaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmnnnnnn, it's expensive!(about $10.00 - $12.00 a 4-pack around here in north Louisiana).

27. I notice something quite interesting here....
It seems that a lot of the favorite beers here are imported. Not that it is bad, just an observation.

I used to post on another board a lot (different interest totally) but it turns out that there are a LOT of repukes there, although politics almost never came up before the election. They did a thing one time about favorite beers, too...and they came up with Lone Star, Coors, Bud Lite, PBR...all the domestic big names.

It seems that there ia a BIG taste difference between these two groups.

My favorite? Guiness...at least you know you're drinking something!!!

30. Yeah along with being...
bigots, hatemongers and just plain stupid, Freepers obviously have no taste in beer. I'd rather drink the liquid that collects in bar ashtrays than any of that swill!

IMHO, I'm a fan of Sam Adams...they have great seasonal brews
