I now have a brand-new reason to admire and respect FDR.
During World War II, he never had an inaugural ball. He felt it an inappropriate thing to do when the country was at war.

Must've been nice to live under a president with such class!

FDR was one of the best Presidents this country ever had, now we are looking at the worst, not one of the worst but undeniably the worst.

5. I've always had great respect for FDR...
he has to be one of my favorite Presidents...but when you live in the mid-hudson valley in NY, as I do, respecting FDR comes naturally...since FDR is a big part of the history in the area.
