3. When did you figure it out?
My first clue was when he said he used "star 69" but the phone at house was a rotary.

10. You can star 69 from a rotary phone
from imdb: Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Tyler *69s Jack at the payphone. While all the Paper Street house phones are rotary, you can dial "1169" from a rotary phone with the same effect; it's likely that Tyler would still refer to this as "*69."

Of course it is still a clue. I had read the book, and still wondered if they were sticking with the ending.

1. You can use a rotary to "* 69"

2. 'Fight Club' is a book

13. On his commentary track the author
says he likes the ending of the movie better than his in the book. He even goes so far as to feel his entire overall product is inferior to the movie. His books are good, but not as good as Bret Easton Ellis.

11. Do you wonder how Ed Norton got so jacked for
American History X? He is so much bigger in that than Fight Club.

23. Okay. What the fuck was that movie about, anyway?
In all seriousness, I have waited A LONG TIME to ask this question.

I have thought about starting a fight club thread just to ask it, but got skeered.

Do alot of men have the desire "to destoy something beautiful" or is that just a metaphor for fucking which isn't socially acceptable. S'posed to keep it light I know, but when he pounded the fey queen's face into a memory it made me a little nauseous.

I identified with some of it, thought it was a great commentary on military structure and the desire to relinquist authority and personal responsibility with a definite homo-erotic B/D undertone, but that's just me...

It scared me.

The only thing I liked about it was Helena Bonham Carter, but she stayed too far removed from the action just like the women in Pulp Fiction.

24. Pitt & Norton were originally casted to play the opposite roles
I think it worked better for Norton to be the Straight Narrator
