6. I first heard Malloy just over two years ago

New Year's Eve, 2002. "Malloy here on resistance radio", he said (that's how he used to open back then), and I was hooked. He went straight into castigating the Bush Crime Family, and I thought I'd found the underground motherlode. Still think so, actually.

I like that very much. I like Randi Rhodes and am a faithful listener to her, too, but her ego is MASSIVE and she can be excessively dismissive of her listeners.

But she took a little while for this Californian to get used to - the New York 'tude and all. But now I don't worry about it. Don't know if I would be a caller to her, an e-mailer, but not a caller.
