I didn't realize at the time the reunion would be more than a one-shot, so I could have waited, but fuck it, they were god damn great, and I had a BLAST record shopping on South Street that weekend. It was totally worth the air fare.

A friend of mine and I went. It was the weekend after the RI Club fire. We were all creeped out looking for exits.

Fucking ClearChannel venues...
I really enjoyed the Oxes' opening set - I was disappointed that Rye Coalition dropped off the bill, but I remain an Oxes fan still to this day.

They play LOUD. The last time I saw them was in Coney Island at a free show. They were also touring with the Pixies. I missed that.
