2. AAHHH stop it stop it stop it! |
|
I'm sitting here and freaking out over little noises now.
No other grownups in the house now, I'd have to pick it up!
I'm reminded of a friend of mine's story about the time she was sleeping in a cabin, felt something in her hair, and it was a mouse.
:scared:
Mice are something I irrationally fear in a major major way. This long post is helping me from hearing little sounds in my house which are probably going to be in my hair when I go to sleep!

5. Oooh I shouldnt tell you this story |
|
But I will anyway
Back when I was in Peace Corps a fellow volunteer was sleeping one night on a island in Southern Thailand. She had very long beautiful hair, and her assignment was in a national park. Anyway, like all of us she slept in a mosquito net, as the little buggers can be pretty relentless.
So she wakes up with this feeling in her hair, and it's not just a mouse but a large pregnant RAT in her hair! And its caught up in it and fighting to get loose. So after getting bit trying to pull the little fucker from her hair she gets it free, and she throws it. Unfortunately, she's still in the mosquito net, so the rat bounces back ala a Looney Tunes cartoon and runs RIGHT BACK IN HER HAIR.
Eventually she got it loose, and thew it out of the net.

6. Poor girl! How disgusting! |
|
My sister told me a few years ago that after purchasing "Mousehunt" on DVD and watching it, that night (or the next day) she saw a mouse in her kitchen. They'd never seen a mouse in their house, and they've lived there since 1977. Cute, but unsettling, too!

This is a woman who didnt alter the length of her hair since she was 14, and she was 24 at the time. The next week, she cut it short.

8. Oh my god...it was probably all heavy and stuff..... |
|
that was so disgusting...ohhhhh...it hurts...
I have just this instant decided to go through my very messy house TOMORROW, clean it from top to bottom and make sure every crevice is sealed.
As I was saying in the other thread, I've got some bags of garbage out back, and I've basically invited them to come and spread their diseases with me and my small child. Definitely putting those bags in the car tomorrow and searching out a dumpster somewhere.
What if one runs under my feet? Especially while I'm driving? :scared: <----Not even nearly a scared enough icon.
