Anyone every heard of a "space-trainer" from about 1960?
It was a playground toy made of tubes of steel that you sat on and turned over and over and over and over and over and over and made your parents sick watching you. I've looked online for it and only found one picture one place.

These gizmos (also known as "Astro Trainers") don't look all that safe to me, but apparently they're all the rage in Deutschland.

2. Close, but not the right thing. Thanks.
It's a Space-Trainer that turns forward and backward only. It has 2 parallel circular steel tubes with a seat between them, on a triangular stand. You rock forward and backward until you go over and over. If you took the dark blue tube on this pict, moved it out to his side, put another out to his other side, with a simple seat with a cross bar to hold onto. Much less hightech than this.
