Are you complicated or simple?

I'm complicated. I think I'm an atheist but I find the teachings of Christ irresistible as a way to live. I have no love for the politics of radical right-wing folks, but loathe the way they are invariably personally attacked here on DU. I adore animals and would make a great veterinarian, but I can't be one because I can't stand to see an animal suffer.

Are you complicated or simple?

I've not always been simple. I've learned to be that way to keep my life less stressful. But there was a time when I would have won a contest for the most complicated person on the planet. Then they put me on psychiatric drugs and simplifying my life became so much easier.

This is my life now that I've simplified things:

Get up around noon and do my morning ritual.
Go out and have my one meal of the day.
Hang out on DU for a little while.
Go to work driving a truck.
Come home and check posts on DU.
Do a little reading.
Go to bed.

I live alone in a little 2 bedroom bungalow. I just have enough posessions to cover the necessities of life.
