8. This is my 3000th post. Just sayin'. By the way, I do have a wallet.
Edited on Thu Jan-13-05 02:00 PM by Left Is Write
I carry it in my purse.

My wallet contains receipts, appointment cards, coffee club cards, a checking card, a couple of credit cards, a library card, a grocery discount card, my checkbook, some change, occasionally some cash, my drivers license, my health insurance card, my auto insurance card, and I think that's it.

Edited to add the other purse stuff: makeup bag, a couple more pens, my phone, loose change, lint, and junk.

that goes with my purse, except i dislike lugging around a purse all the time so I usually just carry the wallet (low-maintenance).

wallet contains credit cards, a few dollars, license, list of phone number& addresses, insurance card, social security card...i think that's it.

The outside of my purse is cooler I think, I have 4 neat pins on it. :D

One with an American Flag that reads "Peace is Patriotic"
Another one thats red with whiter letters "If you're not OUTRAGED you're not paying attention"
A simple square one thats green and says "No War"
And a little one that says "I blame you"

I wanted to put a little picture of * by it, but my mom said to me "are you sure you want his picture on your purse?"

35. I just bought a new purse, what a timely question!
I had the same tiny purse for 10 years that finally fell apart. So I look for another small purse, couldn't find one, so ended up with a medium sized purse. In it, I have:

Wallet
Keys
Cel Phone
Inhaler
Checkbook and pen
Small hairbrush
Small makeup bag
Hair clip/barrette

In my old purse, I could only fit my wallet, checkbook and pen. I used to carry my keys, cel phone and inhaler in my pockets or hand, and the rest was left in the car.

For years I carried nothing but a wallet, keys and my inhaler, all in my pants pockets.

92. Naw, I rarely even wear makeup except for photo shoots
I just put it in there because I had to have something to fill up that huge emptiness in the main compartment of my 'gigantic' new purse (well, gigantic to me, it's actually not that big).

Plus when I DO go out on dates, I like to wear powder and lipstick. So I figured I could keep it in the purse in case of a spur of the moment date. Yeah right, like that would ever happen.

Peace,
Bella

76. Goes back to my days living in the UK
The £ notes there were bigger than my wallet was. So, instead of folding them over, I just began to carry them in a wad in my front pocket. It was just easier, and I never had to worry about getting my pocket picked in a crowd

After I came back here, I kept the habit, and have been doing it for 14 years now. I'm so used to it by now I don't think I could go back to another way.

I seem to be averaging a trip to Hawaii every 13 years, so remind me in 2018.

a visa check card, drivers license, grocery store savings card, kaiser card and last night's lottery numbers.
I should check those.

70. For a girl, I don't carry much.
My wallet is actually a cigarette case. In it, I carry: 1 credit card. ATM card. Driver's License. Frequent diner card from Qdoba and a frequent diner card from the bar where I hang out. And, right now, $3.

The only other things I carry are my keys and cellphone, which I shove in my pockets...

sunglasses, work ID on lanyard, keys, cell phone, three little zip bags with different cosmetics and things, bottle of prescription meds, another bottle of Rx, a tiny book of inspirational sayings, a small Ziploc bag (empty), a movie theater ticket stub, stamps, two tampons (you asked), two pairs of earrings, seven receipts, a coin purse, a wallet, a digital watch, a checkbook, Flonase nasal spray, four pens, two pencils, some brochures from a local spa, wadded up Kleenex and a purse pack of Kleenex. Oh and I just found business cards and a pad of post-it notes.

So.... passport, Amex card, debit card, less than 100 Euros, lipstick, chapstick, drivers license, health insurance card, and a stack of business cards, small folding brush.

I travel light, I never check luggage, and I never carry a purse larger than a TV guide. It must fit inside my briefcase.
