Poll question: Okay, you had $250 to spend...
What'd you get, assuming you knew the quality and depth of both series?

1. I voted for B7
but mostly because I have been watching ST: TOS since I was, like, 5. If there's a line I don't know or mostly know, it's a crappy third season episode! ;-) OOTH, how often does Blake's Seven get shown?

7. Never. And Blake's 7 is far more interesting, and that is saying a LOT.
TOS is my favorite of the Trek series; mostly because it contains people with conflict.

But B7 has a far wider diversity of charcater types. The heroes are all criminals (either legitimately or politically/illegitimately). The heroes do not always win. And they are fighting a ruthless galactic federation. Very strong stuff for the 1970s (it's British so you know it's not going to be mindless pap) and, in today's climate, can be just as or nearly as shocking.

8. Well, what would you spend the $250 on? Or save it, even though
you/we only live once and that our times are running out?

10. Just following the rules...
I thought I had to spend it on one of the two titles listed above. If I could spend it on anything in the video store, well, it would be gone SO fast!

6. well I voted Star Trek
since I like it better than Blake 7 -- however, it's kind of cheating as I don't buy DVDs so if it were really my choice I'd do something else with the $250.

9. B7. If I have $250 and can spend $150 and still have $150 left,
I'll do that all day.

That, plus returning the purchases for a full refund.

12. Those patent pink pumps from Ferragamo !
All right, so I'd still be $45 short. They have to go on sale some time, right?
