Poll question: Okay. I won't feel hurt:
Do you wish my upcoming surgery will fail and as a result I die or, worse, end up in a condition where I'd envy a vegetable?

Sweetie - why in the world would anyone wish you harm?
Puhleeze - we may fight like brothers and sister, but just like brothers and sisters, we don't wish any of the other serious ill will.

7. My first instinct was to say, "Same here"
But I fear bad karma so now I just say, "I hope they get everything that they deserve." (Which would probably entail your wish coming true.)

BTW, my husband taught me the "everything they deserve" thing. I used to wish the all sorts of nasty things on rethuglicans until he persuaded me it was bad karma.
