Poll question: ever tempted to just drink the koolaid?
do you ever think that just stopping the thought process would be easier? isn't ignorance bliss? we're liberals, right? don't we look at both sides of the coin? how about we just look at the other side via fox news, and just relax and let our brains go washed?

think about it - every day we have to think about things and process information. we also appear to be a minority - derided for winning or losing. nobody loves us. we are nazis and communists and immoral and probably drink the blood of innocent children.

on the other hand - drink the koolaid, and you are righteous, see your views reinforced every day on teevee, and will, no doubt, get raptured - plus, you don't have to drink french wine!

2. I've lived in reality too long...
I could never let myself go like that...the only way they can get me to drink the kool-aid is to strap me down and get a funnel!

7. I do...
sometimes I feel as if I'm the one stuck in the twilight zone and not them just because of their sheer numbers. I'm currently reading "Whats The Matter With Kansas" and it is beginning to confirm my fear that two separate dimensions or realities somehow co-exist

4. How about
pretend to drink the koolaid, thereby cashing in on the rwing movement in this country. I tell ya, what we need are phony rwing foundations just funneling $ to us. Let's defund the right!

8. Other.
Koolaid can have no effect on me, ever. Once reality is witnessed, it's impossible to go back.

12. I have to admit to sometimes wishing I could join the ranks of ignorant
yet resolute idiots. Just because sometimes it gets so depressing fighting against forces that seems so huge. Like, sometimes I wonder what it would feel like to be one of the brainwashed mega-chrchies, just being sooooo certain that they're right. And so nice and simple too: Kill Arabs. Hate Gays. Fight for fetuses. Shop as much as possible. Destroy the environment, Gawd gave it to us to use. Go to Heaven.....How easy.

Doesn't last long, but sometimes I wonder.
