What is it with dogs and that outside stink they get after going on a walk
I'm dogsitting this weekend and just took the dog outside for her late night walk and when she came back inside she had that stink. It's not a unique stink to just this dog but just about every dog that I have encountered that has returned from a walk (and it is worsened by the cold) has that damn outdoors stink...whats the deal with it? Do cats get it too?

5. yeah but then you have wet dog smell...
which IMHO doesn't smell like lilacs, unless I have no idea what lilacs smell like...unless it's wet dog smell and in that case I don't like it either!

4. Young boys have the same stanky smell
after being outside. I don't know what it is. I used to tell my little brother he smelled like a wet puppy when he came in.

7. my pup smells like ...
cinnamon ... she smells even better after she's been out in the fresh air ...

if you're not walking the dog on a leash, she might be rolling in something that stinks ... most dogs like to do this ...
