Police are investigating the murder of flamboyant fashion designer Rudolph Moshammer, whose body was discovered by a chauffeur in the celebrity's Munich villa on Friday morning.
Although police have refused to confirm the details, news reports say that Moshammer was strangled in his Munich home, though as yet, no evidence of a break-in has been found. According to information from the German news agency ddp, the designer was found with a telephone cable wrapped around his neck.
At a press conference in Munich, police said that Moshammer was last seen driving alone in his Rolls Royce at around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Appearances aside, Moshammer had built up a successful fashion empire. Since 1968, he had his own boutique, "Carneval de Venise," on Munich's swanky Maximilianstrasse. Among his clients were Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, King Carl Gustaf of Sweden, Las Vegas magicians Siegfried and Roy, and star tenor Jose Carreras.
