Please STOP criticizing OUR PrESiDENT!! I'm in Lawton Smalls mode
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 01:32 PM by HamdenRice
I am getting very disappointed with this website, which I have called a home away from home for some time now. The level of vitriol and attack leveled against our president is becoming intollerable and is uncalled for. Yes, the Iraq war is not going as well as we might have hoped, but remember it was Bill Clinton who really started this war, when he signed a law urging regime change in Iraq. The same with weapons of mass destruction -- the president, Congress and even John Kerry were all convinvced that Sadam had to be removed because of faulty intelligence provided by Bill Clinton's CIA director and Bill Clinton's many intelligence findings that Sadam had wmds.

I am also getting sick and tired of all the griping about the economy too, but our president has done everything he could to try to dig us out of the Clinton recession that started in late 2000. If you really want the economy to improve then you need to get behind our president on making his tax cuts permanent and reforming social security.

Any questions? Ask me anything.

1. Bush is as qualified to be president...
...as the illiterate offspring of a whore and a trained pony.

Any questions?

2. Our president is supremely qualified!
Our president attended Yale University. Now I know there are some naysayers out there who say he did not get in on his own and his Daddy being an important person and all, but remember at the time he applied his father was only a junior Congressman from Texas.

Unlike so many other politicians who just know how to spend other people's money, generated by free enterprise businesses, our president actually ran several businesses and instituted a CEO style administration.

Our president was governor of one of the biggest and most important states in the Union.

I think he successes as president are the most obvious evidence he is qualified and the people recognized that and rewarded him for his first term performance with the biggest mandate every received by a sitting president!

3. He barely passed Yale -- NOBODY gets a C average at Yale and stays!
He ran several companies -- INTO THE GROUND.

And as for being the Governor of Texas, that is simply the most DO NOTHING, powerless Governorship of all the 50 states in the nation.

He's been little more than a corporate cheerleader all his life. And a poor one, at that!

9. Being in business is hard work ...
Something like 50 percent of all restaurants in New York City fail within the first year! So our president was somewhat unlucky when he started out. But you have to give him credit for the courage and determination to start out completely on his own, while people like Bill Clinton and John Kerry went on the public payroll and didn't generate wealth or hire employees. And once he got rolling he became a millionare and generated wealth for lots of people

7. This is hilarious. Unfortunately it's so close to actual comments
by actual bushco supporters, you have been mistaken for the real thing.

4. The war is "not going as well as we might have hoped"?????
More than 1,300 American troop casualties & many more civilians than that. All for a war based on premeditated lies. Yeah - I guess you could say it's not going well.

8. The war is a bit of a disappointment, but
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 01:59 PM by HamdenRice
remember the war was started by Bill Clinton when he signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998. Our president was just carrying out the policy that Bill Clinton put in place, based on intelligence provided by Bill Clinton's intelligence chief, George Tenet!

I suggest that you find another web site / forum to frequent. The level of vitrol and attack level against what's his face is not gonna change, not anytime soon anyway. If anything, the hatred will only build during the next four years.

11. Change of heart ...
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 01:55 PM by HamdenRice
Maybe the level of vitriol will change. All you have to do is look into your heart and ask Jesus to be your personal savior. Then all that liberal hatred and contempt will drain away, like waters of a mighty river!
