Patriots grounds crew are wicked retaahrded!
After days of rain were allowed to destroy the field for Sunday's game the Patriots' grounds crew hustled onto the field Thursday afternoon and covered it with a tarp. While a thick mist dampened the air, it was not raining at the time.

So they are using tarps to KEEP the ground soaked. Classy teams could win without this BS gamesmanship.

8. both teams have to play on the same field. if the colts can't play
football outdoors, where it was meant to be played, and can't win despite having the son of God as their quarterback, then they deserve to have their whiny, "i'm such a great quarterback AND i'm a great guy" (sarcasm off) asses kicked all the way back to indianapolis...

3. Didn't they do something a few years ago, during a snowstorm?
The cleared off the line of scrimmage with a snow blower or something, so their field goal kicker could kick the point? Or something like that?

Just because the Colts lost three games this year playing outside, and have gotten used to a cozy dome.

LOL

I wonder if this will be the new 'Waaaaah!' if the Colts lose. Probably.

5. Done in baseball...
Why not football?
Things like soaking the baselines, letting the infield grass grow longer...

9. They call it "Home Field ADVANTAGE" for a reason.
Pats can do whatever they want to the field - they have to play on it too.

10. Shades of Dolphins-Jets
in the early 80's AFC championship game. The Miami field got soaked the night before and, contrary to the rules, there were no tarps laid down. As a result, the field was pretty close to a rice paddy with standing water all over the place.

The Jets were a speed and talent team, and were favored even as visitors. The Dolphins at that time were a grind-it-out team. The wet field clearly favored the Dolphins.

The result was Miami 14-0. They went on to lose to the Redskins in the Super Bowl.
