I know he was popular in the mid 90's, but all he did was crap. Brosnan's gone on to do better stuff.
And all the dumb LA jokes were terrible.

Tommy Lee is overall a far better actor, IMO.
Brosnan's good too, love his Bond work, but his performance in Dante's Peak was an embarassment.

Dante's Peak sucked ass but took itself too damn seriously. That's a mortal sin when you're making a cheesy disaster movie. Volcano OTOH? Sucked ass, knew it sucked ass, and didn't pretend to do anything but suck ass. One of the most unintentionally funny movies I've ever seen. It's right up there with Showgirls as a movie so bad it's hilarious. I watch it every time it's on cable. :)
