Macs still come with a mouse that only has one click button.... am I the only one who sees something wrong with that?

1. I hate multi-click mice |
|
So there's nothing wrong with Apple's mouse.

I have a friend who's going to school and she use to hate Macs, and at the school they only use Macs and now she's be converted! So we must band together and stop the evil apple icons from taking over! :tinfoilhat:

3. Buy a double click mouse from Macally |

Mine has a scroll wheel too. But I usually don't use the right click, I have to admit.

once you get used to using something that 1 dimensinal, using a regular pc is going to be too complicated for you.

I've used both platforms professionally, and frankly, color management, font handling and a myriad other vital necessities of my job are way better on Mac. If you think the complications of a crashy, buggy, obtuse OS make you an advanced and superior hominid, well, go ahead and think that. Meanwhile, since I got my boss to buy Macs for our art department, I'm getting much better work done, and more quickly, because I'm not fighting against a piece of shit OS anymore.

6. You can use pretty much any USB mouse with Macs |
|
I bought one with a scroll wheel and a few buttons to use with my iBook (because I hate the track pad unless I'm using it as an actual laptop). Works beautifully.

7. I've been using a two button mouse with scrollwheel on my iMac |
|
...for half a decade.
They come with a one-button mouse, because absolute newbies can never figure out what button to push on a two button one (I have to train people on computers, and have seen this over and over).
Nothing preventing you from connecting whatever USB thingy you want to it, though.
I recently picked up one of those USB 'P5 Sensor Gloves' for $12 bucks and hooked it up. Works fine as a mouse, but is uncomfortable as hell.

16. Use your old mouse, if you have one. |
|
When I switched over last year, I just plugged in my Logitec two-button scroll-wheel mouse from my steam-powered PC, into the Mac. It works fine.
