Trivial medical advice needed! |
|
I cut the crap out of my lower lip shaving this morning (THAT woke me up) and it bled for two solid hours. Now it's starting up again. What can I do? Anything besides sticking paper towels to my face?
On the plus side, it appears to be fully oxygenated - it's a nice bright red!

3. Ya just gotta let it clot |
|
Towels, band aid, whatever ya have. Don't play with it with your tongue or lips or anything.

Burns nice and hot, doesn't creasote the stack like pine and makes the neighborhood smell great. :D

I get terribly chapped lips and sometimes they crack and bleed a little. It's hard to get them to clot because you are moving them when you talk. I'd say try some lip balm or keep up with the paper towels and try not moving your lips to let a scab form. If its really bad you might want to consider stitches

7. Perhaps you could try liquid stitches made by J&J |
|
I'm not sure of the exact name OR whether they are available over the counter. If you call your local drug store, I'm sure they can tell you.
I have used crazy glue on cuts- on hands, and leg. It works much the same way as do the liquid stitches. However, I wouldn't rec'd that you use it on your lips/face.
Best of luck to you!:-)
