have to take the kid to a movie - need ideas |
|
Since husband is working late... any suggestions? Don't think I can sit through Lemony Snicket again. Are there any good kid friendly movies still out... he is 8.

3. The Incredibles is good |
|
and you'll be able to sit through it without looking at your watch every 5 minutes. :hi:

7. is Fat Albert any good? |
|
previews looked Horrifying. I already saw Neverland... although he might like that. National Treasure sounds good, if it is still around.

12. Sorry, haven't seen it yet |

Reviews aren't great and you're right about the previews.
But it looks age-appropriate.

6. you know I was off work today |
|
and I thought about seeing that while he was at school. It sounds really interesting. But I think he can wait to learn until he is older. Wise guy. :spank:

16. Snicket was okay - I'd give it a C |
|
the baby's comments were probably the funniest part. I think Carrey was miscast. Much prefer Harry Potter movies or Jimmy Neutron if I have to see them more than once.

14. National Treasure is Very Entertaining |
|
in an Indiana Jones kind of way. Eight might be a little young to appricate all of it, but I bet he'd still be fascinated if he like adventure movies.
Even though the movie is absolutely preposterous, it's still fun.
