Because it's morally ambivalent.

There hasn't been a science fiction tv show like this in a long time.

That's why that show was so great.

We've got a new classic on our hands here.

3. I like it so far

5. I vote old.
I liked the rapid, colored lasers from the Cylon fighters and the Galactica fighters better. These new rocket-type things aren't doing it for me.

I think I even liked the old Cylons better.

I don't know, though. Some of the uniforms and props did look cheesy on the original, even though I LOVED it. Remember that basketball-type game? I never liked it.

Of course, I liked the original Star Wars movies better than the "prequels." Maybe I'm just a fuddy-duddy.

6. Well guess what...
Richard Hatch is going to show up, sooner or later.

I hope you're happy.

7. In retrospect, I really hate the old show
That frigging robot dog, the annoying little kid, the "socialator" (?)...
And just what the hell is a "yahren"?

4. BG quote
I am surprised this quote even made it on air in today's world.

"When the military become the police, the people are opressed" or something similar.

8. "The job of the military is to fight the enemies of the State"
"The job of the police is to protect and serve the People. If the military are the police, sooner or later they will think the People are the enemies of the State."
