Which Was Your Favorite Nightmare On Elm Street Movie? |
|
or do they all kind of run together for you? Personally, my favorite was Nightmare 3 (Dream Warriors). This was the one where Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) had become a psychiatrist specializing in dreams. Patricia Arquette played Kristin, who had the ability to draw others in to her dreams. Craig Wasson was in this as well as Laurence Fishburne. The scene I remember the most is a scene taking place on television with Dick Cavett interviewing Zza Zza Gabor, then Dick Cavett turns into Freddy and tells Zza Zza, "who gives a fuck what you think!"

That was back in my "metal" days, so yeah, that ruled :)
Which one was it where Freedy pokes his head in the door and says "Where's the bourbon bitch?"

he then proceeds to decapitate Kristen's mother...all the while holding her head up...the head keeps talking...criticizing Kristen for always ruining things every time she brings a man home!

6. Which one was it where you found out Freddys family history? |
|
You know, the whole . . . his mother ware raped by 1,000 mental patients, etc. With all the kids chanting "Son of a thousand maniacs, son of a thousand maniacs."
I can't believe I still remember this shit and I haven't seen any of those movies since the 80's :)

I loved the first one. It's when I got hooked on Johnny Depp!
When Kerry conceded, as I sat glued to my TV, devastated, I even played my best Nightmare 1 Heather Langenkamp in my head - "This-is-only-a-dream, this-isn't-real, this-is-only-a-dream, this-isn't-real!!!!!!!!"

I was a senior in high school. It was the first movie that had scared me in a long time (o.k., so I was drunk when I watched it)...

11. Truly...You Are Right... |
|
the first was really a scary movie. It actually bothered me, the first time I saw it. 2 was just a very strange movie on many levels. 3 was really the beginning of turning the series into a parody of itself.

12. The first one is the only good one in my book. |
|
The first one was genuinely scary. The rest of them were cheesy comedy.
