1. You probably bumped into something
and didn't realize until the bruises showed up.

You're busy, say 'ow' to yourself, and promptly forget about it.

4. If you have a lot of bruises
Please see your Dr. You may have an issue with your platelets.

I'm not a Dr. but I have experienced 'bruising and platelets'

9. Oh no
It's not like that. I just notice them randomly but they're not severe or anything.

13. Are you getting enough iron?
Bruises can be a sign of an iron deficiency

8. Yeah
They aren't as mysterious when you have a three year old boy. It's more like, "Gee, I don't remember him hitting me with his toy lightsaber there. Oh, a bite mark, how many times must a kid go through that biting phase? Is that one from tripping over his Simba doll or from walking into the fold out couch when he woke up at three am and wanted to watch Hobbits?"

10. One time, the phrase "HELP ME" inexplicably appeared on my abdomen.
Around the same time, I also discovered that I could spin my head around in a full circle without breaking my neck. Go figure.

12. I get them too.
I'm a very thin skinned , very pale white girl. I work with horses and garden. I get bruised. It happens. I wear hose with skirts. Mostly I wear riding breeches.

15. No, but I keep finding pairs of puncture marks on my neck
I haven't really been able to sleep well lately, either.
