I know that isn't spelled right. But it's great. Yor mix it with hot water, it comes in several flavors, and just stay home and be good to yourself.

3. Miracle Cure!
Buried Treasure Acute Cold and Flu Formula. It is a liquid concentrate and runs about 14 bucks a bottle. It's great because it includes EVERY miracle herb/mineral/vitamin for fighting a cold/flu: zinc, goldenseal, elderberry extract, echinacea, and MANY more. You only have to take 2 TBS twice a day (I take it with juice). I had REALLY bad cold symptoms coming on yesterday because both my roommates have been sick, but I took a dose of the stuff in the morning and the evening and now I feel perfectly fine. Fastest turnaround I've ever experienced. I got it at a health food store. Good luck and feel better!!

4. It sounds like adenovirus
I took my son to the doctor earlier this week with all the same symptoms, and the pediatrician said only one virus causes this particular constellation of symptoms (basically every cold and flu symptom except high fever).

Here's a link: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/revb/respiratory/eadfeat.htm

Reading here I noted that adenovirus can also cause conjunctivitis, which I woke up with this morning. Check.

The pediatrician said adenovirus lasts a long time - five to seven days. Said to take care of the symptoms with rest, fluids, tylenol, etc.

Chicken soup is always good.

5. You need to get an antiviral quickly
Tamaflu worked for me. Get thee to an ER so that you can get over this in three days instead of three weeks.

7. Go to the local natural foods store and buy...
1. Oscillocosium...it's a homeopathic flu remedy. One dose a week also will act as a flu vaccine. It's the #1 flu medicine in Europe and the #1 homeopathic flu medicine in the US.

2. Wellness...it's filled with all the immune system vitamins.

3. New Chapter's Host Defense...(liquid one) That is if you really want to go gang busters on this.

I was a skeptic, but that is what we load sick customers/employees up on at work. It works...far, far better than any standard medicine. Most stuff just covers up the symptoms. This will attack the source.

When I don't feel like that I go to bed with a bottle of whisky. I'm 59 years old. Who can argue with success?

9. Garlic; and salt water.
Peel a clove of garlic, slice it up, put it in the microwave for about 30-45 SECONDS. (Remember to cover up garlic with saran so the smell doesn't stay in microwave afterward). Put olive oil on it if you want, or mix with some chopped tomatoes (Vit. C). Yummm, and good for killing just about any bacteria, virus, etc. Repeat as often as necessary.

Also, I've found that when I start getting a sore throat, I mix some salt in some purified water. Then I lean back my head, and drip the salt water down my sinuses, and throat. It clears out most developing infections in the nose and throat. And if done soon enough when symptoms are first developing, it can stave off a cold/flu. (I think they're selling this saline-type solution for the nose in health food and drug stores now. Except they charge about $7 per bottle. You can mix salt water just as well yourself for literally free.)

10. Use Zicam
it shortens the duration of a cold to just a couple of days instead of a week. I use it, and it seems to work.

Have noticed my mucuous is a dark yellow. Head has that heavy feeling, but no headache, swollen glands, little bit of a runny nose. No more sneezing (happens every now and then). Sinusitis? I see Dr. on tuesday, any recommendations before I go to Dr.?
