Question for cat owners
Would your cat actually use this?

Product discription

Toilet train your cat and eliminate the litter box forever.
The Feline Evolution CatSeat is the next generation litter box that can toilet train your cat. This veterinarian recommended waste disposal system can be used exclusively on the floor in place of the litter box or mounted on the toilet for cats that have graduated to being toilet trained.

The award-winning design allows the gradual reduction of litter away from your cat. This eliminates the tracking of dirty litter and odors throughout your house.

Simply lift and toss the plastic bag for the easiest possible cleanup. If you decide to mount the CatSeat to the toilet, then cleanup is as simple as a flush.

While using the CatSeat on the floor the litter and waste are hidden from view. Your cat is standing on dry sand-textured shelves that simulate the sensation of digging and covering. They never actually come into contact and track the small amount of soiled litter below, helping to keep your home free of odors.

If you decide to completely toilet train your cat, 98% of the training is completed before you even mount the CatSeat in place of the existing seat. It lifts and functions like a normal seat, and with the push of a button, the shelves retract for human use. The open cavity design allows for easy cleaning. It includes a CD video explaining alternative methods and written instructions.

I wonder if this really works and if a cat would actually go for it. Anyone ever tried it?

3. Well one of my cats might.
He comes into the bathroom and flushes the toilet for fun all the time, one time while I was still ON IT! Very disturbing. And when you're all alone in the house and the toilet just starts to flush, it gets very creepy. But he's got the flushing part down great, just gotta get him to go to the bathroom in the bowl....

4. Yes. Ask me how I know.
If you ever board your cat or travel with her you're fucked.

5. i posted this on the other thread, but will here too
A former coworker had a cat that was toilet trained and their kitty used it her whole life (the cat died at 17). My dad trained his cat, Pippin, with one of those back in the '80s. All was going well until dad walked into the bathroom one night without turning on the lights, and nearly sat on Pippin while Pip was doing his thing. To make matters worse, Pippin was so startled that he fell in the john. That was the end of that!

6. I posted it here and the pet forum
didn't know where it would get seen the most. The lounge is filled with cat people. I've been thinking of getting a cat, and was going through all the stuff on petsmart and petco. I had no idea you could potty train a cat. Let's see Fido top that!
