Cable TV channels you wish you had |
|
Cable companies often stiff their customers because of a lack of competition! And it's really bad that my cable TV provider, Comcast, still doesn't have C-Span 2 or PCN (Pennsylvania Cable Network) in my area. Comcast is a big company!
What channels are you getting shortchanged of?

1. None, but I can think of several I wish I didn't have.... |
|
the religious channels, the Spanish channels, the shopping channels, FOX News.

8. I couldn't cope without Fox every now and then |
|
We get it here in England too (the sattelite company 'Sky' is owned by News International); but they don't play adverts, instead they go to a rolling 'Foxcast' of weather covering areas too large to be worth paying attention (as in, rain in Asia) whilst playing the most irritating music possible.
But then you get a quarter hour of comic entertainment posing as news coverage, before another break to relax the muscles nearly strained in laughing too much.
I'd like to get some of C-Span as I'm an American politics junkie, and don't like the web-casting.

2. Just one (as far as I know), IFC |
|
I refuse to upgrade to super premium digital cable until the Comcast monopoly is dissolved. There is competition where my parents live, and they pay the same price for 500 channels that I pay for about 60.

6. Wow, I didn't know there was such a channel |
|
I'd love to have it. I guess 20 Home Shopping channels are more important to Comcrap cable's bottom line.

11. Is the Anime Channel an actual channel or just On Demand ? |
|
I ask because when I had Time Warner here in Memphis, we had the Anime Network but it was On Demand Only. I liked because I'm definately a noob when it comes to Anime.

and other programmming from Europe.
In Reality, I would like to Free Speech TV and an Anime Channel.
That's I can think of because I have just about every channel Direct TV offers right now and have all the ones I like to watch.

|
Got Sundance for a weekend once thru Dish and watched several shows.
OLN I would like only when the big bike tours ore on....wouldn't pay to upgrade the satellite for just 3 or 4 months a year for one station.

35. I have C-SPAN 1 & 2, but Not 3 |
|
I would like C-SPAN 3
Also the golf channel. And I wish Howard Dean would start his own tv show or create a channel called the Progressive Channel.
I saw something about Foxblocker--where you can block Fox News? I don't mind Fox News, I just want to block Hannity (sorry Colmes, but you have been wimping out), O' Reilly, and Cavuto's shows. They are nicknames of the formal name Richard.
I'd also like a v-chip that knocks any show that Ann Coulter decides to be a guest on. :puke:

All of them here at home.
Living in the country sucks. I miss my Iron Chef.
However, I have one more week of this shit before I go back on the 23rd. I hope I don't go fucking insane.
Noggin would be cool if they still did reruns of old school Sesame Street and The Electric Company.

I figure that is as close to criticism of Bush as any channel potentially available is likely to get.
