9. on my HDD about 22 Gbytes |

I have Usenet access and an automated proggie that trawls the music groups unattended. But the total file size includes a lot of vid files.
I'm a bandwidth thief...and sometimes feel really guilty about it.

21. yup RAID rules - and d/load managers |

I use one to strip open directories. That's why I feel guilty sometimes. My motherboard doesn't support RAID though.

However, any file over 8-9 gig tends to be a crash-hazard. Not use, may need to update my RAID BIOS.

|
It's a Linux version of iTunes, even has iPod support and it tells you exactly how much music you've got. XMMS is just as great.

Only 10.82 more GB's until I fill up my iPod. Yay!

And I got my iPod as recently as Christmas. Sometimes I'll listen to the albums in the iPod at home and take out the lyrics from the CDs to read if I want.
Still usually buy the CD for backup, pictures (mostly for the attractive female artists, but there's also some good artwork,) and booklet.

I don't know how many gigs that is. But I don't have a player. Can anyone recommend a good one? Doesn't the iPod only play iTunes?
