I love to hear a loud crowd at a football game! |
I was struck by the Indy game a couple weeks ago how quiet the crowd was, you could hear people talking on the field they were so quiet. I have been a 'Skins fan since childhood, when they were at RFK, and there is nothing like a loud, spirited crowd at a game. This game at Pittsburgh is sounding like it is meant to be!!

3. I live in Florida and I am a 'Skin fan, so I know what you mean |
When your team is doing well and you are away from home, you miss it. Of course, the 'Skins haven't done well for about 5 years. But, that is neither here nor there...LOL.

2. Do American crowds sing? |
British crowds sing, some of the songs aren't terribly repeatable indeed many are down-right digusting.
The rugby crowds are far better, and the Welsh beat the rest of us. They manage to sing their anthem in Welsh - despite all being native English speakers; the English can barely manage 'God Save the Queen' whilst staying in the same bar.

4. It depends on the stadium |
The Redskins have a fight song that is played by the band and sung after every score, which hasn't been to often the last few seasons...LOL.
Some of the other teams do too.

8. I used to go to a lot of Michigan games |
in the 70's. The roar of the crowd was amazing. The loudest was at half time when the marching band played The Victors. Possibly the best school song in history.

9. Not a big Michigan fan here |
More of a Badger football fan, and the Michigan fight song used to annoy me until I discovered that my son's high school uses "Hail to the Victors" as their fight song.
