Eating breakfast in a diner this am, a bunch of freaks...
at the table next to me praising Bush mentioned Democratic Underground. I missed what was said, but someone else at my table heard them mention it. It was with disdain I'm sure. They walked out and got in dusty SUV's with big goofy W stickers. They were badly dressed, unattractive middle-aged+ men with that I'm-not-really-going-bald Mister Swirly hairdo where one surviving strip of hair approx. 1 foot long is wrapped repeatedly around the head with the intent of creating the illusion of a full head of hair, fooling us all.

2. Some of the very people that Bush's policies hurt the most.
Intersting, though, how DU has become so well-known among the opposition! :bounce:

4. Who knows -- the Combover Cowboys could be reading this very thread.
Edited on Sat Jan-15-05 06:17 PM by ocelot
When you think about it, the combover is so very Republican in its transparent but stubborn denial of reality: "There really were weapons of mass destruction, and I do too have hair, so stop saying that."

6. I thought too that maybe the glistening sheen coating their heads
and blinding me with sun glare might be part of a neocon technique to beam messages into my brain. The entire lot looked like the unfortunate results of a few experiments gone awry.

5. Ah, the look of a freeper.
I've seen a few good looking strong Bush supporters.

But I'm fairly certain that unattractive, badly dressed, middle aged white people went for Bush in larger numbers than for Kerry, Gore, or Clinton.

These people also find George "I always look stupid" Bush to be an attractive man.

8. Oh that's NOTHING.
I found a thread somewhere on a Yahoo Groups message board dedicated to how "hot" George Bush was and one stupid freeper woman actually posted the picture of the idiot falling of a Segway to illustrate how lucky we were to have a president with "such sexy legs".

14. Well, of course!
"Sexy legs" is one of the criteria I use to select an appropriate presidential candidate. We must all remember how LUCKY we are to have SEXY LEGS in the White House. Brains? Integrity? Who needs 'em?

11. Oh, don't deny it; you know he's way hot.
Those beady, vacant little eyes... that splotchy, gin-blossomy complexion... that Alfred E. Neuman smile... Let's face it; he's a hunka hunka burnin' love. Don'tcha want to strip him nekkid and ride him like a pet pony?

So now I just made myself sick. :puke:

17. i think it's because he kind of seems like them
not really great at anything and limited in many areas. but they like it that one of their own could be President.

they feel like they are sticking it at those who actually do well in many areas.

only thing is that Bush has got through his entire life because of his dad's name and money. this actually makes it worse that he sucks at so many things since he has actually had opportunities unlike his idiot supporters.

i remember one right wing woman around the 2000 elections say that she was offended by Al Gore because he knew too much.

13. I need to wash my eyes now
Looking at that page was like spraying acid into my eyes.

I'm temped to join up, and say that I find Dubya really sexy, and gradually hint to them that I'm a guy - they're all bound to be rampant homophobes afterall.

16. I looked at it, too, and now I'm really sorry.
The photo was disturbing enough (no, it's not WeeCowboy in a Speedo, thank God) in its creepy "wholesomeness" -- George and Mrs. Stepford sitting on a couch; George looking like he'd just taken a huge toke off his favorite beer bong. But the very notion that there is an actual group of women who post on a message board about how SEXY he is, proves more than ever that there truly is no accounting for taste at all. Though I am morbidly curious about what they are saying, I couldn't bear to sign up in order to find out. However, I do love the idea of a gay Bush-is-sexy Yahoo group, just to freak out the freepers. Call it HotGuysLoveBush or something like that.

19. I think a while back it wasn't members-only, and that's how
I came across it... I do remember reading some of the posts and seeing that one of them had posted the Segway pic as testament to his *cough cough* sexy legs.
