1. Kick the crap out of?
Who's that gasping for air? Oh yeah that's right, it's the Steelers. Try scoring 20 points against the Colts and winning next week. What a joke.

9. True Kleeb, if anything the Steelers showed that favorites can choke
Granted Doug Brien gave a better workshop on that one, but still the Steelers were lucky to come out alive.

15. The Patriots will win tomorrow.
Everyone is underestimating their coach. He's the best in the NFL.

The Steelers were losing half the game
And were very lucky the Jets had a shitty kicker. You should stop blabbing and start praying you don't play the Colts.

24. You're Talking +40 Yard Kicks In 20* Weather....
...at the open end of Heinz Field that faces the rivers. There are easier things to do. Hitting the crossbar from 47 yards? That's one hell of a kick. Herm will bring him back next year.

13. I think he's a good QB - but I don't expect him to win the next game
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Steelers are winning a championship this year. If they keep that defense together, maybe next year. Both the Steelers and Jets had luck today.

I am glad that Cowher was gracious. It will take that kind of attitude to win. It could help the Steelers to have faced elimination like that.

It will be an interesting playoffs.

25. The Legend May Go On....
..but Big Ben stunk out the joint tonight. Watch ESPN, even Ben says he didn't play well. Some throws were so bad, even Dick Enberg couldn't tell who Ben was throwing too.

We got out alive. Or to quote Heinz Ward, "A win is a win." And that's about all you can say.

6. Um...
You won, which is good for you. But your golden boy looked like a deer in the headlights. You barely made it past a B-level squad in your own stadium after a lot of rest.

Gloat today, worry tomorrow.

10. Iron city won. That is a fact and any delay to honor this fact is noted
The previous lucky patriots and other lesser teams have been blessed to not meet the iron curtain of freedom and mendacity. Will, go Steelers!

19. Yes, I am spinning but the fact remains
Iron city won and the Jets lost. I mean no serious attitude...just some ribbing and elevated BP.

against a team that has played in 2 straight over-time road playoff games! Monsters of the grid-iron are you!

I'd be worried about Roethlisbeger, he was exposed a bit today by a defense that isn't exactly championship caliber. He looked like a rookie for the first time in a long time today. He did get the job done when given numerous second chances though, so kudos for that.

Instead of crowing about this dominating performance you should be sending thank you cards to Jets kicker Doug Brien.

21. Doesn't everybody kick the crap out of the Jets?
Here in Jersey it's pretty much a fact that the Jets suck.
I don't even follow football and I know that much.

22. You're being sarcastic, right?
Doug Brien missed two field-goal attempts in the final 2 minutes. The 47 yarder was tough, but he choked on the second. The Jets gave it away.

23. To Play As Bad As We Did On Offense....
...and still win? Remarkable.

OTOH, the Jets only scored 3 points on Offense. The other two scores came from a punt return and an interception. And if either of those don't happen, the game isn't close. Nor is it close if the Steelers don't lose the ball twice inside the 30 yard line of the Jets.

BTW, we may be playing the Colts next week in Pittsburgh. We'll have to wait until Sunday to get that answer.
