2. As a Packers fan, I do support the Lions -- I would rather see them |
|
playing right now rather than that other team. Good luck next year!

3. If it makes you feel any better, they |
|
were on the losing end of Joe Montana's last two touchdown drives with the 49ers. A beautiful moment in 49ers' history, one I will never forget.
Two last drives, two last touchdowns.
:)

10. I'll take that as a "It doesn't make me feel better." |
|
Well, if it makes you feel any better about the Lions' woes, it makes me feel better about the Niners' woes. :)

5. Detroit=the biggest city in the U.S. without a professional football team |
|
They've sucked since I was a little kid. And they weren't that good even then!

11. yep---the Bengals..... |
|
were expected to contend for the playoffs, the Lions were expected to overachieve at 8-8. Lions went 6-10, pussycats 8-8. And the Lions have a better rookie class. Sorry, and with all due respect, but the Bengals are the most disappointing team in football this year.
You've always got the Reds!
BTW, I know I'm new around here and I shouldn't talk s**t but, c'mon, the Bengals?!? The Lions are supposed to suck.

Unless Kevin Jones blows out his knee like Billy Sims did. Always a possibility given the Lions' luck.
Lion's fandom: my one and only faith-based endeavor.

can sometimes feel like being a liberal in a red state come election season. You get excited at first and then all your hopes are crushed and you look on enviously at some other state's winners.
If I can't watch the lions play well, then I have a hard time watching any football.
