Please gawd no... not Katie.
Did anyone see Anderson Cooper reporting on 60 minutes? Perhaps the cnn/cbs merger has already happened?

2. Christiane Amanpour has already blazed the trail between CNN & CBS
...Koppel would never do it, and Katie couldn't be home when the kids arrived froim school at 3:30pm.

My guess is as good as anyone's, of course...

3. Not Katie...
Koppel would be good, but he's got a good thing at ABC (don't know anything about his contract) and Cooper, I love him, but he's still just a punk. Alot of promise, but not for big net anchor!

7. I used to hate Lou, BUT, I think he SEES what is happening!
Lou Dobbs might be a good choice, but he's a VP at CNN and doubt he'd leave, since he'd lose his 'commentary' ability...

9. I really hope it isn't Katie.
She should just stick with doing those cutsie cooking segments and whatnot on the Today Show.

Cooper might be good.

12. Koppel might just be willing to do it just to get back at ABC.
Remember how ABC was ready to can Koppel until Letterman saved his ass?

13. They should pick a 70 year old woman in a mini-skirt & clown makeup.
Oh wait a minute- they already have plenty of those...

Who cares, it should not be too hard for them to find someone who can sufficiently kiss Bush's ass.

I wont be watching one way or the other.
