Who else has done absolutely nothing today?
I've just been completely lazy all day...browsing DU, just lounging around. It's so cold, I don't wanna go out. And I have the day off tomorrow.

1. I've been watching football
And drinking tea all day... that is pretty much being lazy and doing nothing.... I might even "gasp" lay in bed and play some video games when football is over...... V.C.U is starting Tuesday.. so need to enjoy being lazy while I can.

19. Barad Smith...I am sure consuming the two
donuts was HARD WORK. It's hard work doing nothing. I can tell by what I see on TV. It's hard work.

26. "hard" was watching Smirky stammer through his "hard work" excuses...
...during the first debate

i was monitoring FR from time-to-time that night, and it was a meltdown. everyone wanted to know what the hell was wrong with him. yet they voted for him anyway

12. ME!!!
I am still in my robe and haven't put in my contacts (no point in it now).

I have done exactly NADA today.

No work tomorrow for me, either. Just a dentist appointment (ug).

14. I went out searching for a cheap bedside table
and after checking about 8 stores, I found absolutely nothing. Why is is so hard to buy a simple small table (e.g. an 16" slab of wood and 4 square legs)? I refuse to pay $60 for a crappy laminated pressboard box. I almost bought a new router so I could make my own, but quickly discovered I can't afford the one I want.

20. Unfortunately no

I kept thinking the entire time that Ikea would certainly have at least a half dozen to choose from. My Ikea computer desk is the best purchase I've ever made. It's one of those do it yourself tables.. Choose the top, choose the legs and screw them on. I really like functional, no frills furniture. Screw that colonial faux antique crap.

Just checked Ikea's site, and this is exactly what I was looking for

For the low low price of $9.99. Gawd I miss Ikea.

16. Sick as a dog today
Been sleeping most of it.
My toddler keeps running in to cuddle with Mommy. Freaks Mr. Progmom out-he's afraid the little one will get sick too. Doesn't he realize these here are daycare germs to begins with? The littel bugger gave me this cold himself.
I'm going to go see how it feels to be upright for a bit. I'm thoroughly dehydrated.

18. I've not even gotten dressed...instead I've surfed
DU and the NYT as well as Daily Kos. I've also watched Disc 2 of Freaks and Geeks...

I also talked to a friend I haven't seen in a few years and we planned on me getting up to MN once the temps go above zero.

All in all a good day.

Sure there were things I could have done but that would have meant waiting for a bus in single digit weather and I am not up for that.

21. Let's see, McDonald's breakfast, read, nap, 1 quarter of Philly ripping
out my heart, Nyquil induced coma, 4 or 5 posts on DU...

BTW, the Nyquil was because of the cold I can't shake, not because of football depression.

Hmmm... after correcting a typo, someone need to make a cough medication with all the effects of Nyquil, but that tastes like Chocoalte milk... It would be called Nyquik....

22. I feel lazy, although I suppose I haven't been a complete sloth.
I got up, worked out, went to church with my family, came home, did laundry (almost done), and cleaned the kitchen. Other than that, I've sat here and played on the computer, lounged on the couch watching football, and gone out to look at open houses with my husband.

In writing, that sounds like a lot, but really - for me, that IS being lazy.
