Great "surprise"/punchline scenes in films (trying not to give spoilers):
I'm going to say the moment in Reservoir Dogs just as you believe Mr. White is going to burn the caprured cop, and Mr. Orange comes out of nowhere...

When Han Solo comes back to shoot Vader's wingman.

In The Usual Suspects, revealing Kaiser Szozay.

The final scene in the European version of "The Vanishing".

The final scene in "Birdy".

"I see dead people".

The final scene in "Vanishing Point".

Others...?

When Kevin Spacey leaves the police station after the final interrogation and the camera follows his footsteps...and the policeman looks at the calendar(or poster) on the wall..

ooops, you already mentioned this one.

How about the ending of "The Others" ?

...although some people say the case contained the soul of Marcellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), and that's why he wanted it back so badly. It also allegedly explains the small bandaid on the back of his neck, which is supposedly how his soul was extracted in the first place.

4. I remember when I first saw 6th sense
it was a couple days after it came out, and when "some people don't know they are ghosts..." was on, there was a loud collective "OHHHHHHH!"

I've never seen that in any other movie

20. But he didn't talk to anyone in the movie!!
I knew something was up. He never talked to anyone, and I didn't think the editing could be that crappy. Wasn't a big shock to me.... kind of wish it was, I feel left out.

32. I felt the same way about it...
Especially the scene where he's sitting there with the mother. If he didn't know "the truth" until the end, how did he get into the house? And didn't he wonder why the mom wasn't speaking to him??

19. That whole movie gives me the creeps.
Every scene is just so unsettling and uncomfortable. Particularly when Rock Hudson's character is making an ass of himself in a social environment (the pagan party, the cocktail party), and there's those moments when everyone else stops what they're doing, and focusing their disgusted attention on him.

24. A single moment in Truffaut's *Shoot the Piano Player*
If you've seen it, you'll remember the scene in which one of the bad guys says, "If I'm lying, may my..."

And Truffaut cuts to a seen where exactly that happens.

If you haven't seen it, that pleasure still lies ahead of you. :-)

"No, Luke, I am your father."

I also love(from Star Trek Insuurection)
Bev Crusher: Okay Data. What do you think we should do?
Data: Saddle up, lock and load!

When Bishop comes back in Aliens.

When Kim Novak starts crying in Bell, Book and Candle.

And in L.A. Confidential when the Captains says, "Nolo Tomasie" and Exeley then knows that means he killed Vincennes.

41. The end of "Bob Roberts". The tapping foot gives it all away ...
I would also nominate:

- the end of Fight Club (when you find out who Tyler is - "the gun is in my hand!")
- the end of Parallax View (lone nut?)
- the end of Soylent Green
- The end of the original Planet of the Apes (Liberty on the beach)
- And the final shot of "From Dusk 'Til Dawn", which reveals the ziggurat. Great credits joke.
