I'm looking for a laptop, but losing interest because the ebay pages take forever to load.

1. It can be pretty slow at times.
The slowest I've come across is Wikipedia. Even with cable, that thing takes forever to load at times.

2. This makes sense
You better get yourself a really fast laptop and a first-rate broadband connection with a notebook adapter.

Linksys has done very nicely for us and our Comcast broadband.

By the way, if you want to get some really good deals on laptops, you might check the Outlet Store at the dell.com site. There are some rebuilt laptops going for a great price, and the tech support cannot be beat.

Plus, you're giving Michael Dell the smallest possible profit margin.

3. I'll check it out.......Thanks!
I have been avoiding Dell because I heard they were bush-lickers.

4. Ebay has been loading much slower than usual lately--I'm not sure why
and I do have both an ultra-fast laptop and an ultra-fast desktop, both with broadband connections. It's very frustrating.
