What will you name your nonexistent band?
Mine will be "Twisted & the Degenerates," a name a friend of mine came up with long ago.

7. "The Hamburger in the Dirty Toilet"
I snuck a Wendy's burger into a movie theater but I had to go to the bathroom first, and the toilet was dirty, so what else was I to think but "Band Name"!

24. My high school Death Metal band changed it's name briefly.
We were going to be "Defecated Entrails", but I was scared my mother was going to kick us out of the basement where we practiced, so we changed it back to "Carcass Craver".

The club owner had already made up signs and possted ads in the state music rags advertising "Degecated Entrails". He was pissed.

8. When I was in Junior High, it was *so* gonna be FNU:LNU.
That stands for "First Name Unknown: Last Name Unknown". It would be a measure of someone's coolness and sophistication once the band hit big to know that. I spent a couple hours trying to make a cool logo with it for the obligatory tours posters, t-shirts, and iron-on patches.

19. You're thinking of "Anesthesia: Pulling Teeth"
"Crash Course in Brain Surgery" was on Garage Days Revisited, the first album (EP, really) that Jason Newsted played on.

12. For the past 30-some years, I have always thought Waxy Yellow Buildup
would make a great name for a band. OK, I was a Mary Hartman fan and that may have influenced me.

Now, older and frailer, I might also consider Creakie & the Joints. Or maybe Hard Arteries.
