I forgot where I put my memory
When I was a kid I had fantastic recall. FANTASTIC! I could quote conversations from 10 years earlier. If anyone needed a synonym for something, I was right on top of it.
Now, every time I try to relate any kind of anecdote or need to remember anything, I just can't. Is this from getting old?

2. Yes, but,
it's because you've got experience now, and there's so much more out there now, and you're running out of RAM.

Or else, uh, wait, what?

Oh, yeah, and if you smoke too much dope in the sixties, like some of .... wait, did you ask a question?

6. Short term memory is the second...maybe third thing to go. *
Long-term memory takes center stage as you age.
If you have problems with both...now there's a real problem. No joke.

There are ways to keep your memory young 'mental exercises' if you will...and there are doctors if you have real memory problems.

* we won't get into the 2nd and 3rd -- no sex threads. :bounce:
