Poll question: Tom Hanks versus Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 09:30 PM by ZombieNixon
Someone mentioned in GD that Michael Moore is trying to get Tom Hanks into politics, so we could one day have Forrest Gump vs. the Terminator, so I thought up an idea for a frivolous poll.

In a FREE and FAIR election, meaning no Diebold, hand counting of paper ballots (remember, this is Fantasyland, folks), who would win and why, Forrest or Gröpenführer?

1. I think he's still getting too much satisfaction from making films,
but I hope it does happen someday. He backs progressives now. He got involved with the WWII vets in a big way after Saving Private Ryan. If you here him talk about the people he met while preparing for and filming Philadelphia, he seems sincere (yes, I know he's great actor and can probably "seem" anything.)

2. Disney Owns Fantasyland
Therefore the Repubs control it, too, so Arnold wins.

5. Tom Hanks is a DARLIN'
There's an actual human being inside there, and I think voters would go for him overwhelmingly against a block of wood like Ahnold.

:)
