1. Bonus Points: who should be Speaker-to-Animals/Schmee?
No credit for anyone who says Michael Dorn.

2. well huh?
A younger Asian man than David Carradine! Sheesh, it has been many a decade since I read the story, so what am I missing?

Harrison Ford?

I don't recall picturing any 60 year olds in that story.

4. Indeed, he was 200, IIRC.
That's not the point. Who plays him?

7. yeah OK but did he look 200
...as we imagine 200?

My memory has really gone downh ill so I don't remember the details of the story at all. The only thing I really remember is the luck/coincidence bringing lady, and she should be written out, as luck/coincidence destroys the plot of modern moveis because it is too cheap.

No, I don't know who should play Wu truly. My gut says, I would assume in future that we would have genetic engineering and everyone would look around 25...so my first choice would be a cute unknown 25 year old Asian dude with no preconceptions on him?

I'm not very helpful, am I!!!

6. Fortyish, Right?
I think it's mentioned that Wu keeps his physical apparance at about that age, so most of the poll choices don't really match. It's not a big plot point, though, so I'll take Lance Hendriksen. Wu is sort of stoic, Frank Black was that in spades.

12. Louis Wu was always very ...coolly competent
Or at least that's the way he came across to me. comfortable and functional anywhere. And that's how I see Kevin Spacey.
